Blogpost 7: Robin Hits the Internet

What a night! I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to post at all today, because when I was exploring yesterday, I got lost in the jungle. It sucked. I don’t know how long I was exploring for, but before I knew it, it was super dark, and I still hadn’t found water. I decided to head to my shelter and drink some orange soda, but I couldn’t find my way back!

I ended up wandering around the jungle all night, and it was the scariest thing ever. Not only were there creepy, stoopid, trees, but there were all sorts of bugs and animals and things that were looking at me. I shouted at them too stop, and then I swear I saw a monster-maybe bigfoot-running after me.

I could really use a brown marker.

So I ran. I ran for a long time, and I must have fallen and hit my head or something, because I woke up sometime today and I could see light through the canopy. Then I heard the sound of running water. I followed it, and I eventually found a waterfall.

Not super tasty, but less yuck than orange soda.

I tried some of the water and it wasn’t salty, so I’m pretty sure its okay to drink. It looks pretty clean. I was still kind of lost, though, and it took me a while to find my way back to my shelter. I would have written sooner, but I was so hungry that I had to eat first.

But now I’m writing! My therapist would be so proud; I still haven’t forgotten a single day! I hope she’s reading this. If anyone is reading this, they better come get me because it sucks being stuck on an island. My hair is totally gross, I’m always hungry and thirsty, and I can pick plaque off my teeth with my fingernails.

I did learn one thing from my exploring. Between today and yesterday, I’ve been all over the island, and besides that monster I saw, I’m completely alone.
